OnePlus could be looking to launch the OnePlus 9RT smartphone in October later this year, as per a new report from Android Central.

Citing insider sources, the report says that the next T-branded device will be a tweaked version of the OnePlus 9R, which was already an upgraded version of the OnePlus 8T.

When it comes to specs, the alleged 9RT will reportedly sport the same 120Hz AMOLED display as the 9R, but get 65W fast charging support, a 4,500mAh battery and a stronger version of the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The rear camera on the 9RT will also get the same primary sensor as the OnePlus Nord 2, the 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor.

In the software department, the 9RT will reportedly be the first OnePlus phone with OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box, and may bring more ColorOS features.
