After Cameron Bancroft, who was one of the 3 accused in the 'Sandpaper Gate' episode in 2018, hinted that even the bowlers knew about the ball being tampered, former Australian captain Michael Clarke feels that it isn't something to be surprised about.

Talking to Fox Cricket, Clarke said that when you're playing sport at the highest level, you know your tools very well and it wasn't possible to not know that the ball is being tampered when it is thrown back to the bowler. He added that it isn't surprising that more than 3 people knew about it in the team.

Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist feels that more people like Bancroft have information on the plot and are waiting for the right time to pull the trigger.
