One of the world's most coveted luxury names in fashion, Gucci has made a move towards the affordable side but there's a catch.

The Italian fashion house has launched digital sneakers for an economical $11.99 or approximately ₹870 but you'll never be able to wear this logo-heavy pair in real life. The launch is part of a series of augmented reality (AR) sneakers as non-fungible tokens or NFT.

Unlike some recently sold NFTs, Gucci has assured the sneakers will be available in abundance and are interchangeable between consumers with trading making the NFT more valuable over time.
