India’s Olympic heroes, including history-making javelin throw gold-medallist Neeraj Chopra were greeted with a rousing reception in New Delhi as they returned home from Tokyo on Monday evening. Fans and bands welcomed the Olymopians at Delhi airport.

Bajrang Punia was carried on the shoulders of his people. He waived at the supporters cheering him as he got into the car.
India had headed to the Tokyo Games with its biggest-ever medal contingent and finished with their biggest-ever medal tally of 7.
