Herbal or organic cigarettes are paper rolls comprising herbs such as basil, lemongrass, spearmint leaves, rose petals, green tea and the like. These flavoured cigarettes, despite the name, have no tobacco in them.

Studies and the makers of the cigarette claim it helps detoxify the lungs, it stimulates digestion and to calms the nerves.

Despite the lack of nicotine and tobacco the cigarette is still, a smoke stick. These still contain potentially harmful chemicals and the exhaled carbon monoxide does exactly what the other cigarettes do.

The cost of herbal cigarettes is also nearly 5 times more than that of a regular cigarette.
