A 21-year-old woman was murdered outside her college in Haryana's Faridabad on Monday. The brutal murder was caught on camera. Two accused Tauseef and Rehan who were arrested on Tuesday have confessed to the crime. Tauseef told police, "I killed her because she was about to get married to someone else."
He had been previously been arrested for kidnapping the girl and forcing her to marry him in 2018 but the case was later withdrawn by the victim's family.
The main accused went on to explain that the abduction plan was set in motion ou of revenge since his arrest had stripped him of his admission to medical college.
The family, who were protesting for fast action of police in the case have now called off their protest and moved from the Faridabad-Mathura highway, taking the body of the victim to the crematorium.
