Mumbai out of doses: Covid vaccination only from 2 to 5 pm today

After suspending Covid vaccinations for a day on Thursday, Mumbai civic body has said that the shots will administered only for three hours on Friday.

The maximum city is running low on vaccine doses. The BMC has said that Covid vaccination will take place only between 2 and 5pm at a limited number of its centres in Mumbai on Friday.

Covaxin will be given only for second dose & Covishield to only people above 45 years of age, the BMC has said amid a shortage of doses.

281 BMC centres and 20 government-run centres in Mumbai had remained closed on Thursday due to shortage of doses.
