Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to Gurgaon’s Medanta hospital after complaining of body ache and joint pain.
According to reports, the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister was brought to the hospital on Wednesday evening.
Yadav had tested positive for Covid-19 in October, 2020 and had been admitted to the same hospital for treatment. He had received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine on June 7 this year.
The 81-year-old founder of the Samajwadi Party has served three terms as Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister and also as Union defence minister.
