Chennai Super Kings players, who reached UAE on August 13, are out of quarantine now and began preparations for the second leg of the IPL at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai from Thursday.

Star players including Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Deepak Chahar and Robin Uthappa took part in the first practice session. CSK were at the 2nd spot with 5 wins from 7 games, before IPL was postponed midway due to Covid-19 cases in various teams' bio-bubbles.

The second-half of the cash-rich league will resume on September 19 in Dubai with CSK taking on the Mumbai Indians.
