With Delhi-NCR witnessing waterlogging in many parts due to the day-long, steady downpour on Saturday; IMD has predicted more rainfall, thunderstorm for the region on Sunday.
As per the met dept, 'heavy rainfall in Delhi will continue till Monday morning and it will cover Delhi-NCR and neighbouring states of Punjab and Rajasthan'.
Heavy rains lashed Delhi on Saturday causing waterlogging in many parts of the city which saw several complaints being received by civic authorities. Flooded roads and underpass disrupted traffic all over the city, even affecting operations at the Delhi airport for sometime.
Despite a delayed monsoon, Delhi has witnessed record rainfall this season. The monsoon is expected to retreat from Delhi by September 25.
