After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, BJP leader and Union minister Prakash Javadekar on Friday lashed out at Rahul, saying his comments on PM Modi confirmed that the "Congress toolkit" to defame the government, the kind of language used by Rahul Gandhi and his attempts to stoke fear have confirmed that the toolkit to do so was prepared by the Congress.

Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan also slammed Rahul Gandhi. In a tweet he said, while the responsible citizens of India are using precious Internet bandwidth to keep the wheels of economy churning by working from their homes, the only tangible outcome of senseless, mindless and meaningless blabbering by Rahul Gandhi is the wastage of this precious resource.
