Days after her nephew Abhishek Banerjee’s convoy was attacked alleged by BJP supporters in Tripura, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee pointed the finger at Union Home Minister Amit Shah for allegedly staging the attack.

Mamata Banerjee, after meeting injured TMC cadres at a hospital in Kolkata, said two students Sudip and Jaya who went to Tripura, were attacked and astonishing everything happened in front of police and no medical attention was provided to them.

Terming the BJP a 'monstrous party', Mamata Banerjee asserted that she won’t be intimidated by these attacks.

She also alleged that TMC workers were being targeted in broad daylight in states where the saffron party is in power, but no action is taken by the police and administration.
