Trinamool MP Derek O'Brien took a swipe at the government for rushing bills through Parliament "at an average time of under seven minutes per bill" during the ongoing session.

The Rajya Sabha MP sarcastically asked if the government was passing bills or "making papri chaat". He further slammed the government for violating the "sanctity of parliament".

He attached graphic listing bills passed through both Houses of Parliament

Earlier in 2019, he had sarcastically asked whether the government was "delivering pizzas" in response to the "hurried" passage of the triple talaq bill.
