Maharashtra on Friday logged 773 Covid-linked deaths in the last 24 hours, registering biggest-ever single-day spike in fatalities. The worst-hit state also reported 66,836 new cases as the second wave of infections batters the country. However, in some good news, after weeks, the state recorded more recoveries than fresh cases. Meanwhile, capital city Mumbai reported 7,221 new COVID19 cases, 9,541 recoveries and 72 fatalities in the last 24 hours
