A new hotel in North Wales is making headlines for its unique staying experience. Known as the deepest hotel in the world, the hotel is built 1,375 feet below the Snowdonia mountains.
It has four private twin-bed cabins and a romantic Grotto with a double bed. According to their official website, the price for the private cabin is Rs 36,003 and the total cost for two in Grotto is Rs 56,577.
However, to reach the hotel one has to trek through an abandoned Victorian slate mine along with a trip leader. For the hour-long trek, visitors are provided a helmet, light, harness and boots.
As of now, the Deep Sleep opens only once a week, from Saturday night till Sunday morning. The food available at the camp has non vegetarian, vegetarian, and vegan options. Visitors are also allowed to carry their own food and drinks.
