We all have heard that at workplaces seniors will teach and make you grow. However, with changing times, things have changed too. And, now the time has come to practise 'Reverse mentorship'.

What is reverse mentorship?

Simply put, 'Reverse Mentorship' pairs younger employees with senior executives to mentor them on various topics.

It encourages colleagues to form 'professional friendships' regardless of seniority to exchange skills, knowledge, and understanding.

Reverse Mentorship encourages a bottom-up flow of information along with top to bottom flow.

For example, the younger generation at workplaces can teach their managers about what's trending latest in social media like in TikTok, Instagram reels, information about the LGBTQIA+ community and consumer desires among other things.
