According to a new study, people who commute more than five hours each week are more likely to be physically inactive compared to those who only commute one-to-five hours a week.
As per researchers, a lengthy commute is associated with being overweight and may lead to drinking or sleeping problems.
Conducted by Stockholm University, the study looked at the responses of nearly 13,000 participants between the ages of 16 to 64. It was concluded that people who commute less or travel short distances are more physically active and have better health.
