During winters our skin needs proper care and attention but instead we often end up making mistakes. Here are some mistakes you must avoid this winter.

Over-exfoliation – Exfoliating skin frequently causes dryness, inflammation and burning. So, it is better to exfoliate once a week to remove dead cells of the skin.

Washing face too often- Avoid washing your face more than twice a day with face wash as it makes your skin lose moisture and oil, making it dry.

Avoid touching your face- Repeatedly touching your face may transfer germs and bacteria to the skin leading to breakouts.

Never forget sunscreen- A right amount of SPF is what your skin always needs. Apply sunscreen even when you are indoors or on a cloudy day. Sun exposure increases the production of melanin which results in pigmentation.

Moisturise well- Choose a moisturiser that suits your skin type. In winters you need to keep your body, face and lips well moisturised.
