Guneet Monga, producer behind films like the Oscar-winning documentary "Period: End Of Sentence", "The Lunchbox", "Gangs Of Wasseypur" and "Masaan" among others, opened up about receiving the second-highest civilian French honour.
Speaking to a leading daily, Monga said getting the award felt like life coming to a full circle, as she started her career with an Indian-French-German film called "Valley of Flowers" in 2006.
Talking about her career that she has built by doing independent films, Monga added that she is very happy and grateful that her work is being recognised.
