Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced free Covid-19 vaccination for all above 18 in the Capital. He said that the Delhi govt has given the approval for the purchase of 1.34 crore vaccines.
The CM slammed the Central govt and the vaccine manufacturers for different vaccine pricing for the Centre and the states and called for a uniform price of ₹150 per dose at which the Centre is currently buying the vaccines.
He appealed to the manufacturers to bring price parity themselves, failing which he appealed to the Centre to cap the vaccine price.
"It's not the time to make undue profits, it's the time to serve humanity," the CM told the vaccine manufacturers.
