Kareena Kapoor Khan, is all set to turn producer for the very first time with a slick, edgy, new-age thriller.
Kareena has joined hands with Ekta Kapoor to produce filmmaker Hansal Mehta's next project.
Kareena took to Instagram to share a picture and wrote 'New beginnings'.
Inspired by a true-life incident, the film's story is set in the UK and is scheduled to go on floors soon.
Excited to turn producer for the first time, Kareena in an interview to an entertainment portal said that she is very honoured and excited to work as a producer with Ekta whom her family has known for years.
Kareena will star in a lead role in the film which will hit the theatres next year.
