Kangra flash floods: Punjabi Sufi singer Manmeet Singh's body recovered from Himachal Pradesh

Popular Punjabi Sufi singer Manmeet Singh's body has been recovered from the Kareri lake area in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district following the flash flood in the area. 

Reports say Manmeet Singh, who is one of the singers in the Amritsar-based music group Sain brothers, went to Dharamshala along with some of his friends, from where they went to Kareri on Monday. Some reports say that Manmeet Singh is believed to have slipped and fallen into Kareri lake during the torrential rains.

At least nine people have died and eight others are reported missing due to the flash floods in Himachal Pradesh.
