Veteran actor-turned director Revathi has roped in actor Kajol for her next film, 'The Last Hurrah', which is currently in pre-production.
The film is inspired by a true story and chronicles the tale of a mother, Sujata, to be played by Kajol, who battles the most challenging situations with a smile.
An elated Kajol shared the news on Instagram and wrote,"So happy to announce my next film with the super awesome Revathi directing me.. called 'The Last Hurrah'. A heart-warming story that made me instantly say YES! Can I hear a “Yipppeee” please?"
Revathi shared that the story is very close to her heart, and added that Kajol's "soft yet energetic eyes and her beautiful smile" is the reason she chose her for the role.
