June Auto Sales: Maruti, Bajaj Tata Motors finally get into the fast lane

Domestic auto manufacturers including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, and Mahindra & Mahindra reported a good set of numbers for their June sales. Here are the details:

• Maruti Suzuki: 
  - Total sales for June are at 1.47 lakh units vs 57,428 (YoY)
  - On a MoM basis, Maruti's sales are up more than 200%

• Tata Motors:
  - Total domestic sales for the month of June came in at 43,704 units vs 19387 last year (up 125%)
  - On a month-on-month basis, the company's total sales are up 78%

• Bajaj:
  - Total sales came in at 3.46 lakh units vs 2.78 lakh last year
  - On a month-on-month basis, total sales rise 27.2%

• M&M:
  - Total Sales at 48,222 units vs 36544 last year
  - Auto Sales up 70% YoY
