Actor Jacqueline Fernandez is being called to testify as a witness by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an over Rs 200 crore money laundering case, and not as an accused, the actor's spokesperson has said.
The statement comes two days after the actor deposed before the ED after skipping its summons at least thrice.

Jacqueline's spokesperson said she will completely cooperate with the agency in the investigations. She has also categorically denied alleged slanderous statements made about relationship with the involved couple.
On Wednesday, the Jacqueline Fernandez's statement was recorded under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in connection with a money laundering case filed against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekar.

Meanwhile, actor Nora Fatehi, who also recorded her statement before the ED, said that she is the victim in the case and is cooperating with the investigation completely.
Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who has been arrested in a ₹200-crore cheating case, claimed he had gifted a black BMW car to actress Nora Fatehi.
