IPL 2021, DC beat CSK : It was the clash of the top 2 in IPL 2021 and Delhi Capitals (DC) beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 3 wickets in a low scoring thriller to guarantee themselves a spot in the top 2.
Batting first, CSK found it tough to get going Ambati Rayudu's unbeaten 55 helped Dhoni's men finish at 136/4. Chasing which, Delhi found themselves in a spot of bother when they were reduced to 99/6. But Shimron Hetmyer's unbeaten 18-ball-28 helped DC cross the finish line in the last over.
By handing Chennai its 2nd consecutive defeat, Delhi has gone to the top of the table with 20 points.
