'Insurrection, borders on sedition': Joe Biden after Capitol violence

President-elect Joe Biden on Wednesday denounced the storming of the US Capitol as an "insurrection" and demanded President Donald Trump go on television to call an end to the violent "siege." The Democrat calling the storming of the Capitol Hill an "unprecedented assault on democracy". Hundreds of Trump supporters breached barricades and ran over the Capitol as the Senate met to certify Biden's victory in elections. Biden, who is due to take office on Jan. 20, said the activity of the protesters “borders on sedition.”
