Indian PC market logged its biggest quarter in seven years with shipment rising 9.2 per cent year-on-year to 3.4 million units in July-September, market research firm IDC said in a report.
The company credited the increased sales to a “strong demand for e-learning and remote working” during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
HP retained the top position with a 28.2 per cent market share, and was followed by Lenovo (21.7 per cent), Dell (21.3 per cent), Acer (9.5 per cent) and Asus (7.5 per cent).
