UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Cabinet take holy dip at Sangam during Maha Kumbh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj on Wednesday, accompanied by Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, and other cabinet ministers. 

The CM and his team offered thanks to God, participating in this spiritual moment.

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya shared the indescribable joy of taking the holy dip.

 

 


"The joy cannot be described in words. A joint meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Cabinet was held here today in Mahakumbh Prayagraj. Tough decisions have also been taken and preparations have started for the Ardhakumbh of 2031 in the Mahakumbh of 2025. It is spiritual bliss which I said cannot be expressed in words", he said.

 

Before the holy dip, CM Yogi and the cabinet members also fed migratory birds.

 

Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath chaired a cabinet meeting at the Maha Kumbh and approved several major schemes for Uttar Pradesh. Among the key announcements was the establishment of three new medical colleges in Hathras, Kasganj, and Baghpat. 

Additionally, CM Yogi shared plans for setting up 62 Industrial Training Institutes and five centers dedicated to innovation, invention, and training across the state.

The meeting also marked the decision to renew the Uttar Pradesh Aerospace and Defence and Employment Policy, which has been in place for five years. To attract more investment, the state will introduce new incentives.

"Uttar Pradesh Aerospace and Defence and employment policy has completed 5 years. It will be renewed. New incentives have been announced to attract more investment," Yogi stated.

In further announcements, CM Yogi revealed the issuing of Municipal Corporation bonds for the cities of Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Agra. "Bonds will be issued in these three important municipal corporations of Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Agra. Till now we have issued bonds of Lucknow and Ghaziabad. Very good results have come out of this. This is an important medium for branding the municipal corporation and for its development and a new vision," he said.

CM Yogi also spoke about the development of the Prayagraj-Chitrakoot region, similar to the plans for Lucknow, and emphasized the significance of the Ganga Expressway, which will connect Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Kashi, Chandauli, and extend to the Purvanchal Expressway in Ghazipur.
