US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti has reacted to US Ambassador to Pakistan's visit to Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, a region India considers an integral part.
Speaking to reporters while attending the 20th Indo-US Economic Summit in New Delhi, Garcetti said, “It's not my place to react to the US Ambassador in Pakistan but he's been before.".
Reiterating Washington’s stance on the Kashmir issue after a near-diplomatic overlap, Garcetti asserted that New Delhi and Islamabad should address the territorial dispute bilaterally and through dialogue.
“This is an issue that has to be resolved between India and Pakistan and not by a third party, including the US,” Garcetti said while addressing the Kashmir issue.
