Satellite imagery has revealed another concerning project being undertaken by China near the border with India, as per reports.

China is reportedly constructing a dam in Tibet on a tributary of the Ganga river. The location of the dam is close to the tri-junction of borders of India, China, and Nepal.

There are concerns that the dam could be used to affect the flow of water in Nepal and India.

Damien Symon, a geospatial intelligence researcher at the Intel Lab, tweeted the images, saying that the construction began in 2021.
