India's premier terror probe agency conducted raids at around 40 locations on 15 February 2023.

The searches were conducted in relation to the blasts that took place in Coimbatore and Mangaluru in 2022. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) searched dozens of places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.

Raids were conducted in Coimbatore, Mayiladuthurai, and Tiruchirappalli, among others.

In Coimbatore last year, terror suspect Jameesha Mubeen had died in a blast outside Kottai Eswaran temple. In Mangaluru, an explosion in an autorickshaw injured two persons - the driver, and passenger Mohammad Shariq, who is the prime accused.
