Ahead of Gujarat polls, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a drive in Surat on Saturday for people to choose the Aam Aadmi Party's CM candidate.

In a joint press conference with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, the AAP national convenor launched the poll issuing a phone number and an email ID for public to send in their opinions.

People of Gujarat can send in their opinion through text message, WhatsApp message or voice message on 6357000360 or send an email on aapnocm@gmail.com. "You can send your opinions on it until 5 pm till November 3. We will announce the result on 4th Nov", Kejriwal added.

Interestingly, Delhi CM had made a similar pitch in Punjab before the assembly elections earlier this year. According to the AAP, the party received nearly 21 lakh responses in the speacial telephone drive in Punjab after which it declared Bhagwant Mann as their CM candidate.
