A day after two non-local labourers were shot at and injured by terrorists in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, the police on Sunday gunned down two terrorists near the Line of Control (LoC) at Tekri Nar in the Machil area of Kupwara.
According to the police, several arms and ammunition including Two AK-47 rifles, two pistols, and four hand grenades were recovered from the possession of the terrorists
The identity of killed terrorists is yet to be ascertained.
Around 10 days ago, too, 2 terrorists were neutralized by the cops after an encounter in the Nowgam area of Srinagar district, following a 'specific input' generated by Kashmir Police.
