In a major setback to the INIDA alliance, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on January 24 said that her party TMC will fight Lok Sabha elections in the state alone.

The TMC chief said that though she is a part of the INDIA alliance, she had no seat-sharing discussions with the Congress party.

Banerjee further said that she is not concerned about what happens in the country but in Bengal, her secular party will defeat the BJP alone.
