Ram Temple debate | BJP should stop worshipping Nathuram: Gaurav Gogoi

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on February 10 addressed the Lok Sabha on the Ram Temple consecration. Gogoi said that the ruling party BJP should stop worshipping killer of Mahatma Gandhi Nathuram Godse.

Gogoi said, "Ruling party should stop worshiping Nathuram. You can't be Ram bhakt if you shoot at someone." 

Gogoi questioned why Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was stopped from visiting a temple in Assam on January 22, the day Ayodhya Ram Temple was consecrated.

Gogoi further added, "Mahatma Gandhi said Hinduism teaches to respect all religions." He also said that Lord Ram belongs to everyone and that his party walks the path of Gandhi's 'Ram Rajya'.
