AAP's Satyendar Jain gets bail, day after falling in Tihar jail bathroom

A day after former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain collapsed in a Tihar jail bathroom, he was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court.

The top court on May 26, 2023 granted bail to Jain till July 11 on medical grounds. The Aam Aadmi Party leader was warned against influencing witnesses, tampering evidence, or leaving Delhi.

The next court hearing will take place on July 10, with Jain's latest medical reports.

He has been behind bars since May 2022 in an alleged money laundering case.
