The CBI on Wednesday arrested Butchi Babu Gorantla, a Telangana-based chartered accountant in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam.
Gorantla, as per the information, formerly worked with KCR's daughter K Kavitha. He was summoned to the national capital and arrested by the CBI. He will be produced in a court today.
According to the CBI, the Hyderabad based CA has been arrested over his alleged role in formulation & implementation of Delhi Excise Policy & causing wrongful gain to Hyderabad-based wholesale and retail licensees and their beneficial owners.
