Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra has received praise from Ayodhya Ram temple trust secretary after Ram Janmabhoomi chief priest.

Trust secretary Champat Rai on 3 January called Gandhi a "young man walking on foot for the country", and appreciated the march happening in "harsh weather". Rai added that he is an RSS worker, and the Sangh had never condemned the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

A day earlier, Ram temple chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das had said that Gandhi is working for the noble cause of happiness of people.
