Arvind Kerjiwal tried to form third front with non-BJP, non-Congress chief ministers: reports

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kerjiwal tried to form a forum consisting of non-BJP and non-Congress with an eye on 2024 Lok Sabha polls but failed , according to a report by NDTV. 

Kejriwal, according to the report, had written to chief ministers of seven states inviting to them for a dinner in Delhi on March 18, 2023 but the gathering never happened as his idea was met with a lukewarm response. 

The invitations were sent to West Bengal's chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Telangana's K Chandrashekhar Rao,  Bihar's Nitish Kumar, Kerala's Pinarayi Vijayan, Tamil Nadu's MK Stalin, Jharkhand's Hemant Soren and Punjab's Bhagwant Mann.
