After Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha also ends before schedule: 102% productivity, says Chairman

After Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha was also adjourned sine die, 6 days ahead of schedule.

The Winter Session of Parliament began on 7 December, and was slated to continue till 29 December.

During the session, the Rajya Sabha saw heated interactions and disruptions between the treasury and Opposition benches, mainly over the India-China border clash, and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's "dog" and "mouse" attacks on the BJP.

Rajya Sabha chairman Jagdeep Dhankar said that the House had 102% productivity.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge were present in the House.
