A passenger on IndiGo's Patna-Delhi flight was arrested on Thursday after he falsely claimed that there was a bomb on the plane.
The flight, which was scheduled to depart at 8.20 PM, had to be grounded at Patna airport following the hoax threat, according to media reports.
All the passengers were safely evacuated. The plane, including the man's bag, was searched and nothing was found.
The passenger who spread the hoax was detained by the local authorities.
