Security norms for the Parliament have been changed after a breach on Wednesday. 

Two intruders jumped off from the vistors' gallery in the Lok Sabha and released canisters that emitted coloured smoke. Two other people were detained from outside the Parliament for opening similar cans on the road. 

Here's how the security norms have been changed:

Different entries for MPs, media and staff
Only MPs to enter from the main gate of the Parliament
Media and staff to use different gates

What happened in the Lok Sabha?

 In a major security breach on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, two persons on Wednesday jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery during Zero Hour and released yellow gas from canisters and shouted slogans before being overpowered by MPs.

Around the same time, two persons, including a woman, also sprayed coloured gas from canisters while shouting slogans 'tanashahi nahi chalegi' outside the Parliament premises.

All four have been detained by security forces.

Who are the 4 people detained for breach?

The 4 people arrested have been identified as Sagar Sharma, Mnaoranjan, Neelam, and Amol Shinde.

Sagar Sharma, son of Shankarlal Sharma, who hurled the gas canister in the Lok Sabha reportedly got the visitor pass from BJP MP Pratap Simha.

35-year-old D Manoranjan, son of D Devaraj, who is from Mysuru was also detained from inside the Parliament.

Delhi Police has detained Neelam from outside Transport Bhawan. The 42-year-old woman is reportedly from Hissar.

25-year-old Amol Shinde who is from Latur was also caught outside Transport Bhawan in the incident that occurred on the road outside Parliament.

How many people were involved?

6 people are reportedly involved in the security breach at Parliament. India Today reported that all six are from outside Delhi and were staying in Gurugram. Sagar Sharma, D Manoranjan, Neelam and Amol Shinde were apprehened after they opened gas canisters inside and outside the Parliament. NDTV reported that the fifth person has been identified as Lalit Jha. He and the sixth unnamed person are on the run. All 6 of them weree reportedly staying in Jha's house.
