Jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar was seen weeping after Mandoli Jail officials seized his possessions worth lakhs during a raid this morning, an NDTV report said.
CCTV footage from the jail shows a surprise raid being conducted at Sukesh's cell, while he is standing in the corner and wiping his face.
As per media reports, seized possessions comprise Gucci sandals worth ₹1.5 lakhs and two pairs of jeans worth ₹ 80,000.
An accused in a ₹200 crore money laundering case and extorting several people, Sukesh was originally lodged in Tihar Jail but was shifted to Mandoli Jail after he sought transfer claiming a threat to his life.
