Three Injured as House Wall Collapses in Mumbai's Bhandup Area

Mumbai, Jun 24:  An elderly woman and two children were injured following the collapse of a house wall in Mumbai on Tuesday morning, according to officials.

The incident occurred in the Bhandup (West) area.

The house wall, situated next to a drain at Punjab Chawl in Hanuman Nagar, gave way at approximately 7 am, officials stated.

Among those injured were Vanita Vishwas Sawant, aged 65, Yogesh Mashir Pal, aged 5, and Manisha Mashir Pal, aged 9, as confirmed by a civic official.

They were promptly taken to MT Agarwal Hospital nearby, and their condition is reported to be stable, the official added.

The fire brigade, along with police and civic personnel, quickly responded to the scene after the incident.
