The Madhya Pradesh government has come up with a unique move to battle Tuberculosis or TB  in the state.

Malwa district in MP has launched a special Diwali offer for people in a bid to identify new TB patients.

The TB drive initiated by the medical department of Agar Malwa district will be held from October 24-31 will present people with the opportunity to help the district administration in identifying TB patients.

In return they get rewards in the form of gold, silver coins, mobile phones and lots more.
But the catch here is that only those bringing new TB patients will be considered for the reward.

The initiative has been taken in line with the Central government's 'Eliminate TB by 2025' drive, said district officials.
