Petrol & diesel prices hiked again

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 80 paise a litre each on Saturday, the fourth increase in five days as oil firms passed on to consumers the spike in cost of raw material. Read full report here

800 medicines to get costlier

Prices of nearly 800 scheduled medicines which are used to treat the majority of common ailments, will rise by 10.7% beginning April 1. Now the prices of medicines used to treat fever, infections, heart diseases, high blood pressure, skin diseases and anaemia will increase. This includes drugs like Paracetamol, Phenobarbitone, Phenytoin Sodium, Azithromycin, Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride and Metronidazole.

Russia scales back offensive on Kyiv

Anil Ambani resigns as director of Reliance Power

Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani on Friday resigned as director of Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure, following markets regulator SEBI order restraining him from associating with any listed company. Reliance Infrastructure said that Anil Ambani has stepped down from its board "in compliance of SEBI interim order".

Women's IPL likely to start from 2023: BCCI

 

The BCCI plans to launch the much-awaited women's IPL in 2023, board president Sourav Ganguly said on Friday.In the inaugural edition, the Indian board intends to have five or six teams. The existing ten men's IPL franchises will have first right to purchase the women's IPL teams.
