A woman cop in Delhi police was booked for thrashing her father-in-law in presence of another policeman. The video of the entire incident which was caught on the CCTV installed in the house has now gone viral.
Reportedly, the incident occurred on Sunday at the elderly man’s house in east Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area.
The purported video clip showed the woman cop, posted as sub-inspector in Defence colony police station, slapping her father-in-law multiple times. The accused woman let him go only after another policeman who was present at the scene intervened.
Prior to the physical altercation with her father-in-law, a heated argument between the elderly man and the former's mother broke out. The argument soon turned into physical assault when the cop jumped to her mother’s 'aid' and thrashed her father-in-law.
According to reports, the woman cop is in the middle of a legal battle with her in-laws.
