In a disturbing incident, human parts like a brain, ears, and eyes were reportedly found at a shop in Maharashtra's Nashik. The shop is reportedly situated in a basement of a building in the Mumbai Naka area.

Residents in the area alerted police about a foul odour from the shop which was reportedly shut for 15 years. A police official said that the shop was full of scrap except for two plastic containers which were full of human body parts, as per news agency PTI.

These included a brain, eight human ears, eyes, and other facial parts. The police are reportedly not treating the case as one of murder, given that the sons of the shop's owners are doctors.

Police reportedly suspect that the human body parts were preserved for medical purposes. The shop owner was quoted as saying in local reports that he knew nothing about the incident.
