CBI's legal advisor found dead: here's what 'suicide note' at Delhi home said

In a startling incident, a deputy legal advisor of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was found dead at his house on 1 September 2022.

48-year-old Jitendra Kumar was reportedly found hanging at his residence in south Delhi. Kumar worked as a deputy legal advisor at the CBI's Lodhi Road office.

Police reportedly found a suicide note at the spot which said that no one else was responsible for the extreme decision. Police do not suspect foul play yet.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for 2 September.

Jitendra Kumar's wife Jyoti and brother Rajender rushed to Delhi from Mandi and Chandigarh upon getting news of his death.
